The Alexa website collects information from users who have the Alexa Toolbar installed. While it was once considered a valuable way to measure site traffic and performance, today any results should be taken with a grain of salt. As users must have the toolbar installed for Alexa to collect data, it does not give a particularly good representation of smaller sites or sites based in Australia. Using this tool you can check your website - or anyone elses - Alexa rank.

It is possible for websites to "fake" their Google PageRank by fooling the GoogleBot by redirecting. While we won't go into the technical details here, this practice is sometimes used by dodgy webmasters who want to: a) Sell links from their "high" PageRank website: by falsifying their page rank, therefore increasing the amount they can charge b) Sell a website: people will pay a lot more for a website that has a high PR. Use this tool to make sure you are not being duped. This script will check and display the true PageRank of a website. No one likes frauds or scams so it's best to be sure! Remember, a lof of the time webmasters will buy expired domains with a high PageRank and then try to either sell links or the site itself. Google is onto this, and you'll find that the PR will eventually be dropped. If you're considering buying a website, confirm that has an established history and is not just a whipped together website using a previously dropped domain name.

This tool will allow you to check the Google PageRank of a specific website or URL. PageRank is a very broad indication - supplied by Google - of how many incoming links a website may have. A high page rank website is usually given "authority" status. However you do not necessarily have to have a high page rank to appear in the SERPs. It should be used as a very rough approximation of a site's number and quality of inbound links.

This tool will allow you to check multiple (batch) URLs/websites for their respective Google PageRank and Alexa Scores. Google PageRank values go from 0-10, whereas Alexa will show a "total" traffic ranking.
